The West Des Moines City Council will talk about a new golf entertainment venue at Monday night’s meeting. It’s called Suite Shots and is a similar concept to Top Golf. The proposed site is near Interstate 35 and Grand Avenue. Suite Shots would offer driving range bays, a restaurant and bar, meeting spaces and a training academy. Advocates say Suite Shots would upgrade the West Grand Corridor and be a complement to the new Rec Plex .In February, Johnston approved a multi-million dollar golf and entertainment complex.Update: on Monday evening, West Des Moines City Council approved a zoning change in a 4-1 vote that would allow Suite Shots to move forward with development.
